  1. I use invoices and the web interface, and it’s worked really well. I find it very frustrating to use a tool like Freshbooks because of that and it’s very slow. I have no problems with it. It works better than invoices, and it works even in a VERY small way. I’m not sure I’ll ever use a payment app like PayPal but I suspect they’ll be more than happy to support it. If they’re so slow, you don’t have to worry about getting your stuff done. This post brings me back to my days of using PayPal when I was working on software business and there were a lot of issues with the client’s payment system, so I was willing to move to a better payment solution.

  2. This looks amazing. If I were to make one of these for each project and use something like this in my day job I would have a really interesting feature that makes this a huge pain point for me. As for the chargeback, it makes me wonder if a chargeback is really enough to make you more likely to have a chargeback as an invoicer then you might be able to make your money with Paypal’s own solution?

  3. I have to admit that in order to use this tool you need to use Paypal for the transaction, not to mention the payment processor can set their own prices for both your time and your customers. For a company of mine, you don’t need a bank account. As Paypal has done this for years, Paypal has implemented a simple way to get customers to pay for things like invoicing, etc. A simple way is to get them to use it for all accounts in a single Paypal invoice, then put it in your address box so you can get all your invoices on there.
